Hospitals desire their nurses to have a BSN in nursing to step into leadership positions and create high-reliable, transparent organizations. Professional nurses can complete their BSN degree in three to four semesters or 12 to 18 months at Broward College.
After the program application period closes and program applications are evaluated, BC Health Science Admissions staff will send you an admission selection decision (accepted or denied) into the program within 30 business days (excluding weekends, federal holidays, and other college closure days) after the program application period closes.
Students that apply outside the application period, admissions will not be guaranteed for the semester.
BSN information sessions occur every fourth Wednesday of the month throughout the year. If you are ready to take the next step in your professional career, it's time to apply and receive your BSN.
