Accommodated Testing

Broward College Testing offers accommodated testing services for BC students taking classroom tests. Accommodations are determined by the Office of Accessibility Resources. Services provided vary according to student needs. Available testing accommodations are provided on an as needed basis to all BC students.

Accommodations for other tests are handled according to the specified test vendor process. Check with your campus Testing Center for details on requesting accommodations for non-classroom tests such at CLEP, PERT, HESI A2, etc.

Process for Students:

  • Professor notifies the Testing Center in advance with test information and materials.
  • The Testing Center processes the request and makes online appointment registration available for the student.
  • Student visits the Testing Appointments webpage for their campus Testing Center to schedule a day and time to test.
  • Student arrives at the Testing Center on the day of the test.

*Please note that timing of these steps varies by professor and timing of test submission to the Testing Center.

*It is highly recommended that students plan in advance to schedule accommodated testing with their campus Testing Center.
