The Broward Center for American Education (BCAE) in Guayaquil, Ecuador is an International Center of Broward College. Broward College is approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to deliver the Associate of Arts degree in Ecuador. Students who join this program at BCAE will be enrolled in Broward College. 
The Broward program in Ecuador was approved by SACSCOC in 2007.  Students who earn the AA degree at BCAE can transfer to Florida colleges and universities without losing any credits.  Based on the Florida Articulation Agreement between community colleges and the twelve state universities in Florida, students holding the AA from Broward College, even if earned in Ecuador, will be accepted into one of Florida's twelve state universities.
