Studying abroad is an academic program that provides students the opportunity to travel the world while earning credit toward their degree. With Broward College Faculty-Led Programs ranging from one (1) - three (3) weeks and CCIS Study Abroad programs ranging from one (1) - six (6) months, we are proud to offer students the opportunity to study abroad in over 15 different countries.
No matter your timeline, budget, personal, professional, or academic situation. We are here to help you find the right fit for you.
Before you start planning your trip, take a moment to check and see if you fulfill the study abroad eligibility requirements:
You must be 18 years old or older
You need to have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher (some programs may have additional GPA requirements)
You need to be a degree-seeking student with 12 semester hours (including ENC 1101)
You need to have a passport that is still valid 6 months after the date of your return to the United States
