Dr. Jamonica Rolle is a distinguished academic leader with a proven track record of success in various leadership capacities at Broward College. She brings over 20 years of experience in teaching and administration to her role as Interim Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs and College Operations. Some of her roles since joining Broward College include Vice Provost of Academic Affairs and North Campus, Dean of the Communication Pathway, Dean of Academic Affairs, and Associate Dean of Communication & Fine Arts. She has also held teaching positions as a Communication professor at Broward College, a Graduate Business Communication instructor at Florida Atlantic University, and an English and Reading teacher at Broward County Public Schools.

Throughout her career, Dr. Rolle has demonstrated an aptitude for leading change, fostering a culture of inquiry and collaboration, and advancing student success. As the Vice President for the north campus, Dr. Rolle developed strong relationships with municipal, community, and business partners, furthering the college's mission and impact. She has successfully led numerous student retention and post-completion initiatives, including developmental education reform, a robust co-curricular student and faculty engagement agenda, community and institutional partnership agreements, and programs dedicated to supporting local and state economic development.

Dr. Rolle earned a bachelor's and master's degree in Communication from Florida Atlantic University and a doctorate degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Florida. She serves on several boards, including the board of directors for 211 Broward and the American Association of Community College Commission on Student Success.

She reports to the President of Broward College.
