Applicants will retrieve their test results from their IPS account, under the "view my results" tab. The test results are visible to the applicant 4 to 5 hours after it has been entered into the system.

The Medical Clearance Form is available in the Information Booklet, as well as one of the horizontal tabs above.
The applicant needs one Medical Clearance Form and is expected to submit a COPY of that form at each PAT or SWIM. The form will NOT be returned to the applicant.
Applicants may choose any licensed physician; MD, DO, or by the following medical professionals ARNP, PA, or PA-C. Chiropractors are not accepted.
The FDLE 75 and FDLE 75B forms are no longer accepted.
The Medical Clearance Form is valid 6 months from the date of medical examination.
No. Your form is valid for six months from the date it was signed by a physician.
Each applicant is expected to bring two forms of government-issued ID. Please review Information Guide or visit the Pearson Vue site for further explanation. There are lockers available at the IPS Testing site for your belongings.
You may take the test three times in 12 months.

The applicant is to wear a bathing suit (beach or pool acceptable-not too revealing). There are locker rooms available for changing before and after testing; therefore, ALL applicants are expected to leave the site fully clothed.
Applicants may wear goggles, earplugs, noseplugs and swim caps.
Applicants must report to the Davie/Pine Island Aquatic Center located in Bamford Sports Complex, 3800 SW 92nd Avenue, Davie, FL, 33328.
The Pool will be closed at the discression of the Davie/Pine Island Aquatic Center.
The test will be canceled if the rain causes reduced visibility or if there is persistent lightning within 10 miles of the pool.
NOTE: We endeavor to cancel tests and send notifications within an hour of the time of scheduled tests. Due to the unpredictability of the weather, we may not be able to do so.
Applicants will be disqualified:
1. If the applicant touches the bottom of the pool for any reason during swim test.
2. If the applicant touches a lane divider for support.
3. If the applicant hangs on the wall at the other side of the pool for more than 5 seconds,
when turning around and swimming back.
4. If the applicant fails to follow the direction of IPS Staff or Instructors.
There is no limit or wait time to take a swim test. The applicant would need to log into their IPS account, schedlule a test and submit payment for each test.
Applicants are prohibited from wearing muscle shirts or tank tops, shirts must offer some coverage to the arms, and shoes appropriate for athletic activities must be worn.
Applicants may not use mobile phones or headphones during testing, the applicant may use watches for tracking.
The PAT/BMST is conducted on an outdoor obstacle course and will be canceled for rain. Please make sure your IPS account email address is up to date for any notifications.

No. The department you choose to work for is a personal choice. Each applicant is encouraged to do their research; contact recruiters of various departments via their web page or in-person visit.
The applicant should reach out to the Human Resources department of the agency of interest for hiring guidelines and disqualifiers.
These are IDs issued by the state or US government. Passports, social security cards, etc.
The TABE test is no longer a requirement. Applicants are required to take the CJBAT and the PAT.
