As a BC student, how do I change my password?

How to change my expired password outside the Broward College Network

  • If your password has expired, you will be prompted to create a new complex password
  • Type your username and click CONTINUE
  • Type your current password and click CONTINUE
  • Type your new password (Minimum 8 characters, 1 lowercase, 1 Uppercase, 1 number) and click SUBMIT (as you type the New Password and the requirements are met, they will display green and checked)
  • You will be required to enter your multifactor authentication (Protect App or security questions) then BC OneAccess will open to your BC Resources

How to change my password (not yet expired) outside the Broward College Network

  • If your password has NOT expired and you want to change it:
  • Login to BC OneAccess
  • Click your name on the top right-hand corner and select Profile
  • Select Change Password from the left column list
  • Type your current password and type your new password (Minimum 8 characters, 1 lowercase, 1 Uppercase, 1 number) and click UPDATE PASSWORD
  • Your password will be successfully changed
  • To return to your Broward College resources, click on your name in the top right corner and select APP PORTAL

How to change my BC OneAccess Security Questions or setup Default Security Factors

  • Go to broward.onelogin.com
  • Login with your BC Email or Username and click CONTINUE
  • Type your BC Password and click CONTINUE
  • Click on your name in the top right-hand corner and select PROFILE
  • Select Security Factors from the list on the left hand side
  • You can now edit and change your Security Factors
  • To change your primary Security Factor, click on the three dots
  • To edit your security questions, delete the existing factor and setup a new one
  • You can choose the primary security factor that you want to use by selecting SET AS PRIMARY

How do I find my BC email address and username?

  • If you do not know your username or email, you will need to access our online system and go to the Find my Username page entering your first name, last name, and date of birth OR your student id number: Find My Username and Email Address (broward.edu)

How do I update my personal contact information, including my alternate email address?

  • Login to BC OneAccess
  • Click on the MyBC tile
  • Move the cursor PERSONAL tab on the banner and select CHANGE ADDRESS, CHANGE STUDENT EMAIL
  • Review these items and update as necessary
  • Once changes are complete, scroll to the bottom of the page and click UPDATE
  • On this page you can complete ADDRESS CHANGE, PASSWORD CHANGE, STUDENT EMAIL, CHANGE SECURITY QUESTIONS/ANSWER

  1. For BC Online/BC Florida Classes, you should reach out directly to your BC professor or the Associate Dean for BC Online.
  2. For classes taken at an international partnership, please email intl_ed@broward.edu and include the following information.
    1. Full Name
    2. BC Student ID number
    3. Course ID (i.e. ENC1101U)
    4. Reference Number (6-digit number/check your MyBC)
    5. Semester taken: Month/Year

Students previously enrolled at an international partnership center who intend to enroll at Broward College (BC) Online or BC in Florida should complete the “Transition from an International Partnership Center to Broward College” within the “Advising” tab on the Student Forms webpage. This form will remain available through August 6, 2025. 

Students who attended (or graduated from) an international partnership center over 12 months ago should complete a readmission application.

You will need to submit three electronic forms:

  1. Students previously enrolled at an international partnership center who intend to enroll at Broward College (BC) Online or BC in Florida should complete the “Transition from an International Partnership Center to Broward College” within the “Advising” tab on the Student Forms webpage. This form will remain available through August 6, 2025. 

Students who attended (or graduated from) an international partnership center over 12 months ago should complete a readmission application. 

  1. International Student Supplemental Application - This form is used by international student applicants  to provide the personal information required during the application process to Broward College. You will need to upload a copy of your passport.
  2. Financial Affidavit of Support - This form is used by international student applicants to provide proof of financial support for the duration of their studies at Broward College. Applicants will state if they have a financial sponsor(s) or if they are using personal funds. Applicants who have more than one source of financial sponsorship will need to submit a Financial Affidavit of Support for each sponsor. The sponsor's bank statement or letter MUST be attached to the Financial Affidavit. 

The International Student Services Office (ISSO) will notify accepted applicants by email. The student will receive the acceptance letter and Form I-20 to apply for the student visa at the American embassy or consulate. Once the F1 visa is approved, the student may travel to the United States no earlier than thirty (30) days before the program start date as stated on the I-20.

Students who have questions about grades should contact the administration at their international partnership center. If contact with the international partnership center is unsuccessful, the student may email intl_ed@broward.edu.

Students who need to take the FCLE in order to get a Broward College degree must schedule to take the exam remotely. Students must complete the INTL Remote FCLE Request.  After completing the form, students will receive a confirmation email showing they have made the request. The Remote Testing department will review the request and send next steps to the student via email. Once the student has paid for the test ($43.50 for the first attempt and $58.50 for a retest), the Remote Testing department will schedule the student for the exam and send additional instructions.

Students who graduate after May 7, 2024, must confirm their mailing address by submitting the “Confirmation of Mailing Address for International Partners” form by August 15, 2024. Students may access the form by following the path below. 

  1. Go to www.broward.edu 
  2. Click on Student Resources
  3. Click on Student Forms
  4. Select the “International Partnership Centers” tab
  5. CLick on the “Confirmation of Mailing Address for International Partners” form link

The diploma will be mailed to the address in the format provided within the form. 

Students who intend to order a duplicate or replacement diploma should complete the “Duplicate/Replacement Diploma Request” within the “Registrar” tab on the Student Forms webpage.

Students may order official Broward College transcripts online through Parchment. Unofficial Broward College transcripts are available through the myBC student portal. 

Note: When requesting the official transcript, international partnership students should be sure to check the box indicating they are (or were) an international student.

No, international students living outside of the United States cannot use the QLess system.  Therefore, it is best to email your questions to intl_ed@broward.edu.

Students who meet the minimum 25% of degree requirements at BC have the option to graduate from BC with their AA after completing all remaining courses at a different US based college/university and/or pass the Florida Civic Literacy Exam (FCLE).  Once a student has completed all remaining program requirements, the student must request from their current institution to have an official transcript sent to Broward College electronically (use school code 001500). The student must also send an email with their full name and BC ID number to reversetransfer@broward.edu.
