Hurricane Advisory

All Broward College campuses and centers are operational and offering services.

Classes resume on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 18.

After a massive and intensive effort by the Broward College team, we have been able to determine that the requirements necessary to support academic services are online and functioning at every campus and center. Beginning tomorrow, September 15, the College will resume services at all locations.

Please note the following on our services.

Normal operations across the College, including Student Services, are open and our staff is available to answer any questions you may have on payments, refund, drop/or add period.

All amenities are available including food, water, and Wi-Fi access. There is still a boil water advisory in effect or Pembroke Pines. Please avoid drinking from the tap or fountains at the affected campuses and centers. To ensure your safety, the College will provide limited quantities of bottled water at Student Life Centers until the restriction is lifted. If possible, take water with you.

We know that disasters like Hurricane Irma can cause tremendous personal and emotional strain. If you would like to speak with a mental health professional, contact Henderson Student Counseling Services at 954-424-6916.

Student printing has been reduced by fifty percent (50%) for students who pay for their printing with a credit or debit card using the EFI kiosk.

For student printing purchases made with a prepaid card, you can request a refund of the discount (50%) using the help desk form. You must retain the pre-paid card as the refund will be applied to that card.

To celebrate your return in style, Student Life will be hosting special events throughout the day on Monday, September 18, and Tuesday, September 19. Come share with friends and learn more about available College and Broward County resources available to help students still in need of recovery services and supplies. Food and drinks will be available. Follow the event on Facebook and Twitter by using the hashtag, #hurricanehugs.

We know many of you want to find a way to help members of our Broward College community who have been affected by Hurricane Irma. In the spirit of #BCCares, we have established the Broward College Emergency Relief Fund for students, faculty, and staff members who suffered substantial damage and may need either financial help or volunteer assistance from those who were far more fortunate. To donate, go to and click the “GIVE NOW” button. On the drop-down menu select Broward College Emergency Relief Fund.
We are happy to have weathered the storm with minimal disruption to your academic year. Thank you for your patience and your support as we worked to re-open our services.
