Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) can help. Our FREE services are designed to take the guesswork out of beginning or continuing your education.
More education can mean more job opportunities, a faster climb up the career ladder, and a larger paycheck. Regardless of your age, it's never too late to complete the degree or training you've always wanted.
We can help you to determine which college, university, technical, vocational, or career program is right for you. We can also assist with applying to your desired program, and with obtaining federal and state grants and/or private scholarship funding to help you pay for it.

The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) is the fourth of eight federal TRIO programs and was authorized by the Higher Education Amendments of 1972. Broward College received a grant to administer the EOC program which opened its doors in 2017.
The objective of the EOC program is to increase postsecondary education enrollment among Broward County adults. We work on behalf of all postsecondary institutions. We provide direct support and resources to assist Broward County adults with overcoming academic and financial barriers to beginning (or returning to complete) their postsecondary education.
The program also provides services to improve the financial and economic literacy of participants, in order to improve their likelihood of success.
