The Technology Learning Center is available to all Broward College students seeking assistance with coursework and computer concepts, including D2L, Zoom, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and selected Information Technology and Engineering courses.

Some examples of classes we support are:

  • CGS1060C - Computer Literacy
  • CGS1510C - Excel Data Analysis
  • COP1000C - Introduction to Programming
  • COP1250C - Programming 1 (Java)
  • CompTIA A+
  • CompTIA Network+

We also provide support with general technology questions:

  • D2L
  • Zoom
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Our strategies for academic success are as follows:

  • Provide a welcoming, positive, and active learning environment for students to understand course concepts.
  • Provide students with the latest technology to support and enhance their academic endeavors.
  • Skilled tutors are available to provide personalized assistance, reinforce course concepts, and help students reach their academic goals.
  • We design orientations to promote lab services, available software, online platforms, and simulations such as SIMnet, Ucertify, and Hackerrank.
  • Most importantly, we support and guide students toward academic success. Whether they are familiar with about computers, we can help them gain confidence in working with technology.
