Outside Scholarship Checks

If you receive a scholarship that is not awarded by Broward College, please mail your scholarship check to the Cashier's Office on Central campus. This applies to ALL checks, including those you may receive as a result of a scholarship award posted to your account. Do not send any checks to the Financial Aid Office, as the Financial Aid Office does not process checks. Doing so will cause a delay in posting your scholarship award. You must be currently enrolled at Broward College or the Cashier's Office will not accept the check. Please refer to the 'How to Pay' tab on the Cashier site for more information on this process.

Bright Futures Award Update

Are you a Bright Futures Recipient? If yes, your fall courses will be covered by your scholarship. You must be in-state, degree-seeking, and enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits in order to be funded. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email us at state@broward.edu.

If you are a new student at Broward College, please make sure to update your Florida Financial Aid Application with Broward College's school code (062). This will allow the College to award your Bright Futures scholarship.

Applying for Reinstatement or Restoration - Are you a current student that needs information about reinstatement or restoration of your Bright Futures Scholarship? Requirements: Applying for Reinstatement or Restoration (PDF).
