BROWARD UP COMMUNITY EDUCATION COURSES

Broward UP courses and programs are offered ongoing throughout the semester. This makes it easy to start or continue pursuing a credential or degree at times convenient for you.
Course and schedule are subject to change without notice based on space and funding availability. Enrollment is on a first-come basis and attendance must be confirmed on the first day of class.

Broward UP Eligibility and Funding

Eligibility: Applicants must be 18 or older for most Broward UP courses. Healthcare courses require applicants to have completed a high school diploma or GED. Our Adult Education Program can assist you if you have not completed a high school diploma or GED.

Funding: Through grant funding, Broward UP offers free courses and workshops to qualifying students who reside in the following zip codes: 33309, 33311, 33313, 33314, 33319, 33023, 33020, 33069, 33064, 33441, and 33065, and those referred by community partners. Certain restrictions apply.

Other internal and external funding opportunities may be available for eligible students outside these areas. The Career Pathway Navigator team assists students with determining available opportunities.

Interested in tuition-free workforce training but not eligible for Broward UP funding? You may be eligible through Broward College's Rapid Credentials/Open Door funding.
