Each semester, Employment Solutions hosts a series of events dedicated to creating meaningful connections between students and employers. These opportunities include career fairs, employer spotlights, pathway-specific lunch-and-learns, and on-the-spot hiring events.
Work-based learning experiences, such as internships, apprenticeships, and service-learning add valuable work experience to your resume. Additionally, they help students create meaningful networking and career connections with employers. Many of these opportunities can also help you “earn while you learn!”

Students have access to a multi-functional Job Board where employers post internships and job opportunities – both part- and full-time roles - with you in mind. Students can also work with our Career Placement Specialists for hands-on placement support throughout the entire job search process.
Soft Skills, also known as employability skills, are some of the most important job-readiness indicators. In fact, over 80% of Florida employers across industries emphasize the importance of Soft Skills, including communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Employment Solutions provides access to highly interactive online training modules focused on these in-demand employability skills. Those who pass the assessment earn the “Florida Ready to Work Soft Skills Credential,” proving to employers they are career ready.
